Seconds-grade ground beef is our delicious, thoughtfully raised beef but with a small flaw that keeps us from selling it at full price. You may notice: visible pieces of beef fat that were not well ground or incorporated into the meat; dents or dings in the packaging; light frosting on the meat; slight discoloration on the meat; packages under or over the typical 1 lb package size (though you will still get 20 lb of meat).

Our heritage breed cattle are raised on our family farm from start to finish on pasture grasses and hay. They are rotationally grazed during the growing season, and are given hay and access to shelter during the winter. They are never fed corn or other grains. Our beef is completely free of GMOs, antibiotics, and added growth hormones. It is processed in a USDA facility, packed in CryoVac, and frozen.
