Seconds-grade ground beef is our delicious, thoughtfully raised beef but with a small flaw that keeps us from selling it at full price. You may notice: visible pieces of beef fat that were not well ground or incorporated into the meat; dents or dings in the packaging; light frosting on the meat; slight discoloration on the meat; packages under or over the typical 1 lb package size (though you will still get 20 lb of meat).

Our beef is grassfed, grass-finished, and pasture-raised on our family farm near Estelline, SD. It’s completely free of GMOs, antibiotics, and added hormones. The meat in these bundles has been processed in a certified humane USDA facility in South Dakota, and frozen.
